There are sooo, so many USB plug-in Bluetooth adapters to choose from. Pretty much after I'd read all the reviews I closed my eyes and ordered this UtechSmart BT V4.0 unit. That it would work with Win 7 (which I'm running now) and Win 8 (I guess it's possible I might succumb to it at some time) is a real plus. When the package arrived I was taken aback by the small size of the device; the entire device is only a tad larger than the USB plug itself. I noted the retail packaging was better than many similar devices and, behold, all of the English was *good* English. Read the user manual... clear, to-the-point (and mind-numbing simple) installation instructions. Mounted the CD, started the installation program... very smooth... Broadcom built... said when to plug in the adapter... a minute or so later the drivers were installed. Made a few changes to the software (it's important to me devices run My Way!)... connected up with my smartphone in, oh, about 20 seconds... and Bluetooth was fully installed and my device connected, all in less than five minutes... no drama... no dead-ends... Bluetooth was installed and my smartphone connected... it just worked. Tested by sending an image each way, checked the audio... no problems. Awesome! Excellent! I'll recommend this one to anyone asking about a USB Bluetooth module, you bet. Oh, yeah; the little module is a tight fit in a USB connector and that's a very good thing. Most USB connectors are a little loose. This thing is so small that if it were a loose fit it might very well separate and be lost with the first bump.

Update 3/23/2014:
After my dongle died, I was contacted by the vendor and they sent me a new one free of charge. I understand any electronics product can have a defect or can even stop working without any defect, but Utechsmart has earned my business for the next time, with their excellent customer service.
